Chicago-bred duo Louis The Child signal yet another massive year with the release of “Somewhere Else” with BabyJake and an official music video to match the energy.

We can always count on Louis The Child for their vibrant musical innovation, and “Somewhere Else” delivers just that on every level. Gorgeous synths guide the production with a catchy beat and gritty undertones, topped off by the vocal stylings of BabyJake, driving home raw, relatable emotion.

The music video is just as relatable as the subject goes from being cooped up in a dark room — and in the blink of an eye, running through a picturesque landscape, taking in nature’s beauty. We’ve become all too familiar with staying home throughout the coronavirus lockdown, and “Somewhere Else” is that light at the end of the tunnel.
