Deorro is back and he is kicking off 2021 with an absolute banger, “Me Siento Bien.” Teaming up with Portuguese producer/DJ KURA and Puerto Rican R&B singer Alex Rose, “Me Siento Bien” is a catchy and clever track that combines all of the elements that make up Deorro into one tidy track. The track is one part spicy Latin piano music, and one part banging electro and bounce. On top of that, this is only the first of many singles that will be on Deorro’s upcoming album.

“Me Siento Bien” translates to “I Feel Good.” And that’s exactly how you’re going to feel after giving this track a listen. The track opens with some familiar sounding Latin percussion and electric piano. Alex Rose lays down smooth vocals in Spanish. Some light trap drums get introduced later into the verse and before long we’re at the buildup. The drop features some of the hard synths and bounce that Deorro is known for.

This is a song that is meant to be played loud. The video is straight out of an episode of Narcos, with Deorro and Alex Rose wearing some Tony Montana-inspired suits, lots of girls by pools, a really big house, and cash. Here’s what Deorro had to say about “Me Siento Bien” and his upcoming album.

“This record has been a long time in the making. My boy KURA had originally sent me an idea which developed into an earlier version of the production you hear here. As time went by, I continued to think about different ways to bridge the gap between EDM & Latin music. Rather than going straight Latin or straight EDM, we used this record to bring both worlds together. Alex Rose is a straight up beast and crushed his performance right off the bat. The first time we heard what he wrote we knew this was it. I’m stoked to be finally sharing this, and soon, the rest of the album, which brings these two worlds together in so many different ways”

Listen to the latest from Deorro & KURA, “Me Siento Bien” featuring Alex Rose, out now on Ultra. Stay tuned for more details on Deorro’s upcoming artist album.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
