I’ve known Mark and Wes for years and it seemed only right to make a tune together, at a time where we all need to dance and be free, even if just in our kitchens. Named after the Philadelphia diner where the pair first met more than 20 years ago, Silk City is a celebration of classic dance music. After decades of friendship, Diplo and Ronson entered the studio together in 2018 and churned out hits — “Only Can Get Better” featuring Daniel Merriweather, “Feel About You” featuring Mapei, “Loud” with GoldLink and Desiigner, and “Electricity” with Dua Lipa.
