As music curators/journalists, there’s no greater pleasure than getting in on the ground floor with an artist. Behind the scenes, the Gelus (pronounced “jealous”) team has been preparing for this moment for a long time, and now the debut single, “Emerge/Arise,” is finally out!

Coming in at a pretty short 2m14s, “Emerge/Arise” wastes hardly any time with any sort of egregious intro, getting to the meat of the matter in just 40 seconds. Enter the era of Gelus, check out “Emerge/Arise” below!

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
