iPhone 12 production might be affected by power chip shortage

During the holiday quarter, demand for Apple's new iPhones is typically strong. But the company might run into trouble meeting that demand due to a shortage of power chips for its iPhones. 

This is according to a report by Bloomberg, which cites people with knowledge of the matter. The chips in question manage power consumption in Apple's iPhones as well as other phones, but it's unclear how limiting these constraints are. The chips aren't being produced as quickly as usual due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the disruptions in production will likely last two more quarters.

      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020."
