Get this impressive HP laptop for less than $350

Save $80: A great budget laptop, the HP 14-inch laptop with an AMD Ryzen 3 processor is on sale for $319.99, down from $399.99 in an early Black Friday deal of the day at Best Buy.


Newsflash: Apple isn't the only company that makes good laptops. If the impressive MacBooks are out of your price range, there are plenty of other brands to turn to. 

If you're working with a tight budget, check out HP's 14-inch laptop with an AMD Ryzen 3 processor. As of Oct. 29, this laptop is on sale for $80 off, which brings the price down to $319.99 — not a bad price for a computer.

Obviously, at $320 this isn't going to be a top-performing laptop in the same league as a MacBook Pro, but it is a decent machine for school, work, and gaming. It has 8GB of RAM and 1TB of storage and an HD 14-inch display.  Read more...

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
