risik serves up dancy darkness with a flip of Dana Dentata’s twisted, female empowered masterpiece, “TND.”

Through her reimagining of the track, risik blends her own brand of pounding drums and crushing bass synths with the unmistakable squealing leads of the original. Dana’s vocals cut through and steer straight into a forceful drop that has us shook to the core. The wrath of risik’s “TND” flip is hostile, relentless, and unforgiving — a Halloween mood.

Per risik’s self-made press release, the track is guarenteed to:

  • tear the club up
  • make the neighbors call the cops on your house party
  • make things get pretty crazy on your Minecraft server

Hey, it’s 2020… We don’t make the rules…

The producer also shares:

Dana Dentata is one of my heroes, both musically and as a woman who has been through some shit, and I wanted to convey the power she makes me feel through her music, with an aggressive, heavy version of one of my favorites by her.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
