Kaskade and Project 46 take their recent collaboration, “Chains,” deeper for this toned down, melodic 2.0 production known as “Chains Chilled.”

The all-new mix of the progressive anthem takes a chill approach, which can be gathered from the track title alone, as the producers drop the tempo from 127 to 118. Soft synths cover the beat like a blanket, with lush, airy movement and vocals that hit as beautiful as ever. This one goes out to those living for the feels!

I’m free of love but I’m still in chains
Free of love but I’m still in chains
Hit rock bottom, my doubts won
But I’m not done
I’m free of love but I’m still in chains

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
