Alyx Ander is a prominent artist who’s continued to excel at producing some of the best house music on the airwaves. The Miami-based artist has been on fire this year, landing releases on Insomniac, Perfect Havoc, Spinnin’ Records, as well as launching his very own show ‘Day Life’ on SiriusXM Chill.

His latest musical venture is a collaboration with Grammy-award winning artist Mýa, and the result is spectacular. Titled “Without You” and signed to the prestigious Spinnin’ Records, this song proves to be an electrifying house anthem that can’t help but captivate you with Mýa’s incredible vocal performance and equally matched production from Alyx Ander to create what feels like an instant hit.

The collaboration started two years ago, when Alex sent the song idea to Mýa, who responded with a lot of interest. Alex flew to LA on a whim to see Mýa and they ended up spending over 8 hours in the studio to create this track. Alex mentions there are 25 versions of the tracks and it took a year and a half after they first began working on this to get the song to its finished form.

If anything, “Without You” is a testament that patience and hard work pays off. Stream it below and add it to your playlists!

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
