SAYMYNAME is back with two brand new tracks! Known as the “Godfather of Hard-Trap” to fans, the California native brings versatility and vitality with his latest Elevated EP.

The first track on the EP is the trap anthem “Alright” featuring Yung Pinch. Combining Pinch’s nasally vocals with glitzy melodies, SAYMYNAME crafts a catchy hip-hop/EDM crossover bop. Fans will also pick up on his hardstyle and trap influences across the flawless production.

Meanwhile, SAYMYNAME raises the bass with the B-Side “Spitfire.” Similar in intensity to the two tracks on his Awakening EP, “Spitfire” is a vicious juxtaposition of screeching synths and wobbling basslines. It’s a dubstep brain blast of festival-worthy bass to get the headbangers to headbang as soon as they hear they hear it.

You can listen to both tracks below out now from Ultra Records.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
