Gettoblaster deliver with their DFTD debut, “This Beat” featuring Servante.

Just a couple beats in and you can already tell it’s Gettoblaster coming through the speakers. As always, the dynamic duo keep the underground alive with their classic, jacking house approach. The sound design is squeaky clean and undeniably thick, matched with hypnotizing vocals that introduce the real stars of the track one by one.

Despite the unforeseen circumstances of 2020, Gettoblaster are destined to have another defining year and “This Beat” only adds to it. Described as “close-your-eyes-and-feel-the-music” production, we recommend you do just that.

“This Beat” is out now via Defected Records‘ own DFTD.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
