Mau5trap has just dropped an absolute fire with their latest house cut. Veteran producer Jay Robinson brings in celebrity superstar Idris Elba on the latest single “Know Yourself”.

Jay Robinson, who was previously featured on the remixes of the Deadmau5 single “SATRN”, should be no stranger to house heads. With his infectious jams appearing on labels like Mad Decent, Night Bass, and Bite This!, it’s no wonder Mau5trap has adopted Robinson into their fold. This is why a collaboration with the house-Hollywood icon Idris Elba is a “match-made-in-heaven” scenario.

“Know Yourself” is a tech-house track that flaunts swagger. The skeletal drums and hi-hats mix with an earworm of groovy bassline. Meanwhile, Idris Elba’s voice repeats a mantra about “needing to know yourself”, which sounds like a line he would say in an blockbuster movie before the action kicks in. It serves as the cherry on top of this very flavorful and fresh dance record.

Make sure to check out the new Jay Robinson and Idris Elba track “Know Yourself” out now everywhere.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
