Buku Music + Art Project just dropped its lineup for 2020 and it’s already looking like it will be one of the top lineups of the year. While headlining sets from Tyler, The Creator, Flume, and Illenium are already enough to contend with, the lineup just keeps getting better and better the further down you go.

Attendees will also be able to see Glass Animals, Run The Jewels, Zeds Dead, Kaytranada, Alison Wonderland, Charli XCX, Taking Back Sunday (!!!!), Gramatik, Kayzo, Troyboi, Subtronics, Dance Gavin Dance, JPEGMAFIA, SVDDEN DEATH Presents Voyd, 100 Gecs, LSDREAM, Mija (Live), Mr. Carmack, Blanke b2b Lick and more.

However, it gets even better. The team at Buku has truly outdone themselves this year: not a single, not one, name from 2019 is repeated on the 2020 lineup. In an industry where everyone is booking pretty much the same lineups, Buku is putting on a masterclass in curation and creativity with 2020 in sight.

Check out the lineup for 2020 on the left below and 2019 on the right if you need to see it for yourself. Tickets for 2020 are available here.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
