Saint Punk is back with his latest dance floor banger today, “911” feat. J.

The new bass house banger has all the trappings of a prime time dance floor heater, with a catchy vocal, pounding bass, and mids that are just right. As far as bass house tunes go, it’s not reinventing the wheel, but it’s another in an arsenal of awesome tunes that top tier DJs are going to be throwing out to get the crowd moving.

However, the real beauty of the track isn’t in the sound, it’s in the meaning. Rather than the 911 call you might think of when you hear it, the real meaning is a little more… well:

“This is a shout-out to all the late night 911, urgent sex texts. Nothin better than the anticipation of a booty call” – Saint Punk

There you have it — you have a new booty call anthem, ladies and gentlemen. Stream it below, out now via Armada.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
