We’re stoked to announce that Au5 has an album due out for release on May 24th! He has been brewing Divinorum for three years, and the LP will stretch to ten tracks in total. With such a progressive and creative style to electronic production, this is surely going to be a statement listen from the Colorado-based artist.

The first single from the album is ‘Stargate,’ which has been made in collaboration with fan-favorite Tasha Baxter. Hazy melodies and drawn out beats are order of the day, and it’s about to whet fans’ appetites for the rest of the collection.

Explaining the track, Au5 says: “Stargate,’ to me, is about the acknowledgement of our shortcomings, mortality, and flaws. With that acceptance, we realize the boundless potential that awaits once we “let go” of our attachment to ideas that hold us back. In the context of the album, it defines approaching the point where we are able to transform ourselves and break through into the divine realm.”

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
