KEELD goes well outside the norm with “Freek,” a new production guaranteed to get you out your seat! Might as well report to the dance floor now.

Smooth come ups and downtempo beats set the mood as deep, looping vocals reinforce it. The cycle put forth by KEELD is a low-end roller coaster ride — up and down, back and forth through an instinctual groove. Each punctuated note drives the beat home a little more. It’s optional, but encouraged, when listening to let that inner freak flag fly.

KEELD busted onto the scene in 2017, seemingly out of nowhere. It wasn’t long before his work was noticed by the likes of Tchami and Malaa, and picked up for a stream of releases on CONFESSION. Now, he’s back again with Dim Mak‘s latest New Noise record, available for free download.

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
