Dutch duo Firebeatz are back in Los Angeles, and they’re bringing the heat to Academy LA this Saturday night. It’s been more than two years since Tim and Jurre last played a club show in Los Angeles, so expect tons of new music and an epic night under the LED ceiling at Hollywood’s premier night club.

After touring with DubVision as Metafo4r for much of 2018, Firebeatz has had a steady string of releases in 2019 on their Ignite label including their Club Weapons 2 EP. All of their new releases are perfectly primed for, ahem, the club, and perfectly capture the Firebeatz ethos of treading the lines between house, progressive, and electro.

Make sure to get your tickets here to see Firebeatz at Academy LA this Saturday and check out the video below to get pumped for their set! If you you’re not in LA this weekend, there’s still some dates left on their North American tour.

May 9 – Cleveland, OH – Magnolia Nightclub

May 10- Chicago, IL – Prysm Nightclub

May 11 – San Francisco, CA – Temple

June 28 – New York, NY – Pier 15

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
