rickparfitt.jpgStatus Quo frontman Rick Parfitt has spoken out the growth on his right vocal chord.

The wrinkly rocker is set to undergo tests to see whether it is cancerous and admits that he is ‘terrified’ about things.

He admitted that he still smokes 20 cigarettes a day which he attributes to the ‘stresses and strains’ of being in a band.

Parfitt told the Sunday Mirror: “It is really scary. I would be lying if I said it wasn't - but at the moment, we don't know anything.

"I've just got to see what happens this week before making any big decisions. It's a question of wait and see.

"When the doctor said there was a tumour, I was terrified. But then he said it doesn't necessarily mean it's cancer."

More like a chemical and a habitual dependency that is so powerful that even the fear of death is nothing compared to it. The "stress" he speaks of is the effects of the aforementioned cloaked in his own reasoning.

He should have stopped a long time ago, but now it’s too late.

It won’t matter now.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
