This is one of my favorite songs on the album. From what I've heard, this song makes silent references to his old friend Paul Wall, but not in the way you may be thinking. See, from what I've heard, in the song, his ex-best friend is Paul Wall, the girl symbolizes money, and the AIDS symbolizes the change ... or more easily, his "ex-best friend" aka "Paul Wall" "died" aka "changed" because of the "girl" aka "money"
