<span style="float:left; margin-right:10px;"><img src=http://www.musicsnippet.com/Undiscovered/Camille/camilleSP.jpg /></span>Camille says "Turn the lights down low" because "It ain't me/It's gotta be you." Camille Smith, just 19 years old, was featured on I'm Special 2 which was created in mid-July.

Camille began singing at the age of 8, singing solos in church and the school choir. She went on to receive voice training from Barbara Schapp of the Juliard Performing Institute in New York City at the same time enrolling in numerous Hip/Hop and Jazz Dance classes in order to become a more well -rounded performer. Camille lists Lauryn Hill, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Beyonce and Janet Jackson as artists who have inspired.

Her debut single entitled "It's Gotta Be You," which is produced by Tricky Stewart is a hot song that is being slept on across the country. Stewart has produced for the likes of Madonna, Britney Spears, Maya, Gwen Stefani, and Blu Cantrell. This particular song was originally intended for Jennifer Lopez, but when she passed on it, Camille was quick to try and pick it up. They even got Jamaican reggae singer Cecile featured on this hot track.

Across the country, this song is gaining airplay, even without a record deal. It has even been featured on Funkmaster Flex's radio show. She is currently working with Tricky Stewart, J.Q., Pooh Bear, Tab Nkhereanye, Zeke, J.Que., Todd Terrell, Antonio Reid, Track Boys, Shawn "Tubby" Holiday, and Scott Storch.

During the times that she isn't blasting hit singles, Camille is studying psychology and law as a sophomore at the University of Miami.

Give the song a listen. Be sure to remember that you heard it from BeatKing FIRST!

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
