For those of us who have been eagerly anticipating another throw-down between giant robots and equally giant monsters in the sequel to Pacific Rim, this has been a good week. After suffering through years of on-again, off-again updates on whether the apocalypse would indeed be cancelled again, this week brought news that Star Wars: The Force Awakens actor John Boyega would play the lead role in the Pacific Rim sequel.
