Sinéad O'Connor Reported Missing Near Chicago

Police are currently searching for Sinéad O'Connor, who has been reported missing in the Chicago area, Billboard reports. Police in the suburb of Wilmette, Illinois, told Billboard in a statement: "The Wilmette Police is seeking to check the well-being of Sinead O'Connor. O'Connor reportedly left the Wilmette area for a bicycle ride yesterday at 6:00 a.m. and has not returned. A caller has expressed concern for her well-being and no other information is available at this time."

According to TMZ, an alert sent by police called O'Connor "missing suicidal." TMZ reports she was last seen "on a Raleigh motorized bicycle with a pink basket," wearing a "black parka, black leather pants and a sweatshirt with 'Ireland on the back."

Pitchfork has reached out to Wilmette police for comment. A spokesperson for O'Connor declined to comment to Pitchfork.

Last November, a spokesperson for O'Connor confirmed she was "unwell and receiving treatment" after a Facebook post suggested O'Connor might harm herself.
