Los Lonely Boys Drummer Arrested in Texas

loslonely.jpgSAN ANGELO, Texas - The drummer for the Los Lonely Boys was arrested Thursday along with his wife on a marijuana possession charge after police searched their home, authorities said.

Ringo Garza, 23, and Lenora Garza, 24, were booked on $1,000 bail Thursday morning and released shortly after, according to jail records.

Authorities said the search was conducted after two women filed a police report a day earlier after a night of drinking at the couple's home. The women filed the report at a hospital. Further information about the report wasn't available.

After a night of sponging and drinking at his house, I guess they felt morally responsbile to report him to the police. The women sound like hypocrites.

Los Lonely Boys bassist arrested in Texas

AUSTIN, Texas - The bassist for the Los Lonely Boys was arrested Saturday on charges of marijuana possession and assault, authorities said.

Joey "JoJo" Sacarais Garza, 26, was in town with fellow sibling-bandmates, who were preparing for a concert.

Police responding to a report of a disturbance at the Omni Hotel in downtown Austin found Garza and a woman in his room, police spokeswoman Laura Albrecht said. The woman was assaulted, Albrecht said.

Lonely Boys: Arrest was misunderstanding

AUSTIN, Texas - The arrest of the bassist for Los Lonely Boys on allegations he assaulted his fiancee was all a misunderstanding, the band's publicist said Sunday.

Police arrested Joey "JoJo" Sacarais Garza, 26, at an Austin hotel Saturday on charges of assault causing bodily injury and possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana, authorities said. Garza was released on bond from Travis County Jail hours later.

"This is simply a misunderstanding. We were being too loud," Carina Lyn, Garza's fiancee, said through the publicist. "We apologize to the hotel guests. JoJo and I are very much in love and we are planning to be married."
