Trina-Pull Over (that ass is too phat)
Off her certified gold debut album,Da Baddest Bitch in 2000, this is definitely a song for the strip clubs. She's an ok rapper, don't know if she has ghost writers, but visually, she's a 9 or 10 in my book.

Tevin Campbell-Shhh(Break it down)
Off the double platinum, Grammy nominated, 1993 album "I'm ready", here's a slow jam written by Prince, probably the most erotic song ever sung by a minor. [Tevin was 15-16 yrs old at the time] This should be in rotation on everyone's slow jam mix tape or cd.

Wu Tang-Gravel Pit
This is off their third album, W. It's not one of my favorite tracks, but it brings back to me one of my boys that died bout a year and a half ago in Iraq. So in his memory, enjoy.

World Famous Supreme Team-Hey DJ
Classic old school from 1984. Before the bling and gangstas, when hip hop was about fun and not the commercialistic bullshit it's turned into.

Great song, kinda sexy watching a lady sing and play bass at the same time

Off the classic 1989 album, All Hail the Queen, here's a classic dance track that's still in rotation around my crib and probably one of the best hip house tracks ever, IMO.

Planet Patrol-Play at your own risk
Off the self titled Planet Patrol album on the Tommy Boy Record label in 1983, here's a pop/break/dance classic produced by remix/dance/club legend, Arthur Baker. I know the grown folks up in here can appreciate this one ;)

Not a fan of her music in general, but I always thought she was good looking and this cut is pretty catchy.
very true, her status lets her work with the best producers who know how to work with so-so voices, like hers

Jennifer Lopez-Play
This can be found on her second album, "J.Lo," which went 4x platinum in the States. The song hit #18 on the pop charts & #2 on the dance charts. It was co-written by Christina Millian, before Christina began her solo career. It's a track built strictly for the club as it feels different when just played on the radio.

Billy Preston & Syreeta-With you I'm born again
Classic duet from 1979, off Syreeta's self titled album, which went to #4 on the Billboard charts. It's become a favorite as a wedding theme. RIP to Syreeta who died in 2004 due to heart failure. When was the last time you heard a duet like this?

Tupac-I aint mad at cha
Off the Diamond certified (10 million copies) All Eyez on me, here's one of my favorite tracks from Tupac. It went up to # 13 in the UK but was never released as a single in the US, until 2 days after his death. I'm not a big Pac fan but a classic is a classic. Anthony Hamilton sings the chorus.

Brownstone-Grapevyne [1995]
Off their debut platinum album, "From the Bottom up" on Michael Jackson's record label, MJJ, here's my favorite track from these ladies. It went to # 49 on the pop charts but to # 6 on the R&B charts back in 1995.

That's my pick as well. Beyonce riffs a bit too much for a song when simply sung is beautiful

The Bee Gees wrote this song for Samantha back in 1978, giving her a top ten hit (went to #3) and with the success of this song, a platinum album.
It was redone by Destiny's Child in 2001, on the "Survivor" album, also taking it into the top 10.
Samantha Sang's version.

ok, I can agree to that..Today's hip hop is mostly danceable by ladies in g-strings sliding down a pole.
-
Not the same Genre though, the Humpty dance is old school hip hop. The other song is more of a house track.
-
Classic house from 1989, as far as I know he's a one hit wonder. You club heads know of any other good stuff from him??

D Train-You're the one for me (1981)
Here's a song for everyone as I've seen grown folks dance to at weddings & parties and I also remember the first time I fell in love with the art of popping as I saw this one kid beat an entire crew with this jam blasting away. It was their first single and it's become a dance floor classic still being played today, 27 years later.

My brother would love to answer this. Intelligently, he sends all his music to be copywritten first, months before he shops it around so there is no doubt what-so-ever that the production is his. He had a friend who introduced him to the group, Whodafunk. He wrote a song for them and through his supposed friend, the song got to them. He never heard from their legal team until he heard the song on the radio. He showed up the same day to their office and said to the secretary," Where's my check? The song on the radio? That's mine. Where's my MuthaF*&kng check?"
There's a DJ in England, initials A.W. that's got a surprise coming to him too
