  13. Source Josh Avedisian 7:40 PM 12/24/03 A tough year for p2p is almost over. 2003 brung lawsuits against p2p users in the summer. But in a way P2P made some accomplishments, from Gnutella2 to Shareaza's Multi-Network connections. This year could of been one of p2p's finest years if it wasnt for the dreaded RIAA. So with the recent ruling against the RIAA that says that they cannot sue p2p users anymore will 2004 be the year p2p makes strides to improvments. But in a recent article the RIAA stated the fight was not over. So will p2p be faced with more lawsuits in the year 2004? This may be one of the most exciting years for p2p. Like we stated in our recent article what features will be added to p2p in this up coming year? This could be a great year for p2p, What new programs will be created and what features will be added to them? Will Fasttrack die off this year? Will new users to p2p figure out the dirty secrete of Kazaa? Some information to look forward to in the future a new fasttrack client is in the making from the creators of Ares. The rise of Peeranha is coming soon. Or will this be a bad year for p2p. The RIAA drops another bomb or keeps to its same plan and sues users one by one. What does the RIAA have instore for p2p this year? We are guessing they will have something in this ongoing battle p2p verus RIAA. Full Story
  14. Well lets say its not really all just Ares.. something cool the developer is doing. Just keep checking my site for details ;)

  16. Thank You Rainbowdemon. Thats why you havent seen me here as much lately. Writing some articles and crap like that for supportp2p. I dug up some intresting stuff on Ares. But I dont think I will go public with it cause cometseeker is my friend and I believe he wouldnt like that. So I will leave you hanging LOL
  17. Source:Supportp2p Full Story here Josh Avedisian 11:30 AM EST 12/23/03 P2P developers have not been advancing their techology lately. It seems the big worry for p2p users, and the most wanted feature in p2p programs, is security. So what about making p2p programs faster and easier to use? The latest moves in p2p technology have nothing to do with security; the latest developments are Gnutella2 network and Shareaza's connectioning to Edonkey2000 and Bittorrent. So what other features can be added to p2p? We think that security should be a top feature for developers, but we think developers should not lose focus on making P2P technology faster and easier to use. But now with the RIAA setback from the recent ruling in court, will P2P developers finally start to focus on improving other applications of their technology? Has p2p accomplished everything it can to make its applications fast and easy to use? Of course not. Have P2P developers accomplished everything they want to do with multi-connections to other p2p networks? No. It's time for the developers to focus on applications that wil broaden the popularity of the platform, and ultimately make P2P secure and easy to use.
