Wow... they lose 30,000 dollars if I download a movie that is usually on a $20 dollar DVD. I don't think they are falling behind technology, they have just figured out how to make a shiftier profit from it.

Now all we need is a surgery to make the old pole thick as a beer can and life will be perfect.... or not. :wha':

There's a reason people don't do this to random people on the street. Because you don't buy tabloid magazines with pictures of random people from the street on them. The same reason the papparazzi stalk celebs. I don't buy them damn trash mags, but I work in a grocery store and can tell you TONS of these things sell. Remember, it was this kind of papparazzi behavior that was supossed to have led to Princess Dianna's death. Who's at fault, the celebrity for making a living off the adoration of people, the papparazzi for making a living off people's adoration for a celebrity, or us, for making our adoration a bankable currency?

It is being reported that LED ZEPPELIN singer Robert Plant claims he used to watch live sex shows with clean-cut ABBA stars Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson.
Wait a second.... live sex shows with Bjorn and Benny, that's just wrong. Plant is a pervert.

And that's the backdoor that lets the bad guys in. You attach some "family values" crap to a bill, and it's pretty much gaurunteed. Though, notice at this point it is about "pre-release" media. I'd be curious to go over the thing and see how far it goes. Example: if it debunks all former court rulings that ISP companies are not required to release user info with just an IP address.

Doubtful.... if you tried shagging her you'd have found my arse was in the way.
I thought she felt a little hairier than usual... *shudders*

Retailers report rocketing sales of classic albums that polled well in Channel 4's 100 Greatest Albums.
Amazon says it has witnessed an astonishing surge in sales of albums that polled highly in the chart.
Artists such as Jeff Buckley and Nick Drake have hurtled to the top of Amazon.co.uk's Hot 100 music chart.
They have pushed contemporary favourites such as The Killers and The Stereophonics out of the top ten.
Classic titles such as Air's debut Moon Safari have also charged into the top three as fans update their collections with classic albums they missed first time around.
The late Jeff Buckley's critically acclaimed masterpiece Grace jumped up several hundred places overnight to 4th place, while Nick Drake is currently at number six with Five Leaves Left.
Joni Mitchell's Blue is at number 16, while Radiohead, saw their top-rated album OK Computer re-enter the chart at number 14 - an amazing jump of hundreds of places.
"It's amazing the impact polls such as this can have on the public's buying trends," comments Paul Eisinger, Amazon.co.uk's music editor.

Cool. I'm going to start a poll about a product I want to make. I will release the poll to the public, and then make my product available.
My product?
I'm going to crap in a box. Wonderful business model.
By the way, if you download the sound of me crapping in a box, I'm going to sue you.
God... I'm grumpy.
Makes sense though. IF I watched the show and heard something I liked enough, I MIGHT go buy and album.
But, I wouldn't buy radiohead... just... makes... me.... psychotic.

I'm jealous. I'm just finishing first year for AA w/ science option for my BSN. So, another year at community college, then two years at WSU sattelite campus after that. Trying to decide whether to take administrative after that, or work my year and apply for a anesthetist program. Either way... still only sitting at the end of my first year.
Congrats!!!!!!!!1
:good job: :good job: :good job: :good job:

April 23, 2005 Yakima, Washington U.S.A.
We didn't get snow, though it may have in the mountains. We got heavy rains that basicly turned the streets into flash flood channels. It came down at its hardest for about an hour, hour and a half. Yakima is a semi-desert climate, so flash floods go hand in hand with hard rains, when they occur. Lower in the valley a tornado touched down. Tornados, by the way, are not a common occurence in Washington. This is the second one to touch down in the valley in three years. Thankfully, when they try to move around, they end up hitting the hills and dying out. So who did it indeed.
