Mark Kozelek is a singer-songwriter-guitarist, best known for his work with the Red House Painters, and his current band, Sun Kil Moon. Here he performs one of his songs live.

Mark Kozelek - Moorestown (Live)

With his latest band, Sun Kil Moon, Mark Kozelek is accompanied by Tim Mooney and Anthony Koutsos on drums, and Geoff Stanfield on bass. The band is named after Korean bantamweight boxer Moon Sung-Kil. This song appears on the cd Ghosts Of The Great Highway, which was released in 2007 - I couldn't find a real video, so this will have to suffice in the meantime. His next album, 'April, will be released appropriately in April this year.

You can listen to some of Sun Kil Moon's new album, "April", right HERE - it's excellent. You might want to start off with the cut, "Light"... but it's all good. Thanx to Stereogum for the tip off.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
