(Khaled's marriage proposal)

Fans spent a few days scratching their heads after watching DJ Khaled's marriage proposal to Nicki Minaj on MTV News last week, and finally on Monday night (July 29) Nicki Minaj responded in a radio interview with Funk Flex, laughing and telling him, "Nobody in my real life took it seriously." Khaled isn't too torn up about it though, releasing his latest Suffering From Success single "I Wanna Be With You," featuring Nicki (plus Rick Ross and Future) to coincide with her interview.

Khaled spent a couple days trending on Twitter last week when his proposal hit the web, and now there are answers. At least a few fans seemed to guess what was going on.

"Of course, DJ Khaled was promoting a new song featuring Nicki Minaj. It's alright. I'm only here for Nicki's part," @a_nomics wrote, while @jasmine_aleya still seemed to think there was something more going on. "Why don't ppl jus keep their head out of khaled and nicki minaj's business like they even know u exist tho loool."

Some were a little late to the game...

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
