I've only been watching the standard prime-time broadcasts, and Spencer has not shown the side indicated in this thread (unlike Aaryn, who let it all out Sunday). I see what his mom is saying and I understand that can be the pack mentality, but you have to project to the bigger pack--the millions of viewers.

You might ask how the viewers could possibly impact the winner of BB.

A new twist this season is for the viewers to vote for a Big Brother MVP (BBMVP). This person would cast a secret vote for a third person to be placed on the potential eviction list. If houseguests are consistently running their bigoted mouths, they will stand a slim-to-none chance of getting this vote. So along with the Head of Household, if you don't have the power, you stand to be one of the victims. If at this point, Spencer never gets head of household, never gets BBMVP and never wins a veto, he could be gone fairly quickly. While this holds true for anyone, having the immunity of a BBMVP can be very handy.

So what it boils down to is developing a strategy that doesn't involve jumping off the bridge like everyone else.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
