'Everyday' by Louie

Recommended Posts

WASHINGTON, Sept. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The founder of Move Mania Records (www.movemaniarecords.com), popular Arab-American music producer "Louie," will be releasing his new album entitled "Everyday" on September 18th, 2004 in the United States and Canada. The album presents a unique and upbeat blend of dance music introducing exotic Middle Eastern instruments along with a diverse group of young and talented vocalists, the unique specialty of each adds to the originality of the album, making it incomparable, in that it's the first to introduce a new genre to the world of music.

Listening to "Everyday," one might relate to the hip-hop element of music introduced; however, what is actually being played is "belly-hop," an original genre of music created by Louie, a pioneer in creating what's become known in the US, Europe and the Middle East as Dance/Middle Eastern fusion. "Belly-hop" incorporates hip-hop with belly dancing music. An example of this blend is "Move your belly," the first track on "Everyday."

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
