New York City Native, Agent Orange NYC (Ara) has been performing around the world for the past 20 years as a DJ, Live Act, Producer and Audio Engineer. His discography includes productions and remixes for Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk, Monika Kruse's Terminal M label, BUSH records, Circle Music, Duplex, Teggno, Electrik Soul & Gotham Grooves, among many others. Even a dance project for 50 Cent's label G-Unit. In 2012 was voted 1st runner up by Christian Smith for a Beatport remix contest.

He has performed at some of the world’s most prestigious clubs and events like main stage at the Ultra Music Festival during Miami’s WMC, famous after parties during Detroit's Movement festivals to legendary boat parties in Ibiza, concerts and clubs in S.Korea, festivals in North and South America. He's collaborated with some of the biggest names in the underground and commercial EDM scenes.

To describe his sound he says "I really like to blend organic sounds with sounds of our digital age. Groovy, hypnotizing, pulsating dance-floor percussion, combined with synthesizer elements and melodies that at times paint deep, lush atmospheres while other times playing fast and furious melodies to create dance floor explosions!"

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
