Oliver Lang - Chuck Lazy EP

Beyond being a prolific DJ, Oliver Lang continues to have production success, with tracks already out on Toolroom, Spinnin and Blackhole all making it into the Beatport charts, and forthcoming releases for the uber cool, Frequenza, Starlight, Deeperfect Maquina, Destined and Hotfingers plus an EP for his own label Dojo; you can expect to hear more driving, groovy tech house monsters from Oliver over coming months.

Lead track 'Chuck Lazy' is a tech house groover that has sunshine/summer all over it. Oliver takes his many years experience from Bora Bora to produce something that would have the masses rocking, building with vocal clips and the breakdown that will have hands in the air all over the experience from travelling around the world from different cultures which reflects with the individualism which is heard within his tracks. 'Bounce to this' is a continuation of Oliver bringing his A-game to his release on his DOJO label. This is slight more jackin tech house track which has a great vocal loop which helps build the track to something that would fit into any primetime DJ set almost anywhere.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
