We all miss Nate Dogg. The Long Beach hook master died a year ago at age 41 after several years of health problems. And if you listened to MTV News' Sway Calloway's Shade45 "Sway in the Morning" show on Thursday (April 12) you might have gotten a bit choked up when Warren G's "Regulate" came on.

Nate Dogg Remembered One Year Later

But the reason Sway chose that classic was because of the rumors that the big Dogg might make a return engagement this weekend at the Coachella Festival during a set from Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, G and Daz Dillinger.

That on-stage combo is historic enough, but TMZ reported that Nate Dogg will join his boys for several songs in the form of a hologram. We're not sure how that's gonna look, but we're wondering what you think about that virtual cameo?

Is it creepy, or kind of legit? Let us know if you are down with the virtual Nate Dogg hologram in comments below.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
