We are now just two days away from the premiere of the trailer for "Looper," the highly anticipated sci-fi action flick starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis.

Every day this week, the trailers site at iTunes will post a small, teasing "vignette" that will lead up the premiere of the full trailer on Thursday.

Today's look at the movie focuses on the tone of the science fiction in "Looper." Gordon-Levitt says that he sees "Looper" as a "down-to-earth 'Blade Runner.'" Not a bad comparison in our book.

"That's actually one of my favorite things about this movie. It feels real," Gordon-Levitt says. "It's that style of sci-fi that could actually exist in thirty years."

Check back here tomorrow for the final vignette and Thursday for the premiere of the "Looper" trailer.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
