Drake Admits To Recreational Drug Use

When Drake rapped “Something spinning fast either me or the room,” on “Faded” he was clearly speaking from actual experience. The YMCMB rapper recently sat down for an interview with The Guardian, during which he admitted to mild drug use. When asked about his experiences with drugs, the Toronto native responded in a way that was certainly unexpected. 

Drake Admits To Sharing Girls With Lil Wayne In GQ Verse

"Have I sipped Codeine before? Yeah, of course. Have I smoked weed? Yes. Do I drink wine? Yes,” Drake told reporters. Then immediately following the statement, in a possible effort to dilute the situation, he added "But do I do it excessively? No. I'm not a reckless guy. I do it all within moderation."

Later in the interview Drake also mentioned "I'm not into drugs," he laughed and then added, "I mean any outside the ones I just mentioned. Nah, that's not me. I care too much about what I have. I'm not going to throw it away for that."

In another recent interview across the pond, Drake revealed that he is in the process of cooking up a possible Aaliyah collaboration. “I have some great Aaliyah news coming soon,” Drizzy shared with the UK’s Tim Westwood. He then teased with a scanty amount of information saying, “Some special things. Great things man. Great things for music, period.”

      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
