'Harry Potter' Leavesden Studios Museum Behind-The-Scenes First Look

If you've ever read Movies Blog, you know we're big "<a href="http://moviesblog.mtv.com/tag/harry-potter">Harry Potter" fans here. So it shouldn't come as any surprise that we went over the moon when Warner Bros announced that they'd be converting the Leavesden Studios sets that they used to film the "Harry Potter" movies into a museum to honor the franchise.

[url="%20http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/video/harry-potter-tour-reveal-movie-magic-15857162"]ABC News[/url] has a brand new behind-the-scenes video tour of the museum that shows off some of the sets fans will get to see if they visit the Leavesden Studios lot. Let's just say that I'm seriously considering a ticket to London once this bad boy opens on March 31. I mean, it's [i]only[/i] a 13 hour flight from California. Sacrifices must be made!

The first set teased is the Great Hall. It doesn't look quite the same as we remembered it, destroyed at the end of "[url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/movie/383853/moviemain.jhtml"]Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2[/url]," but Filch has probably been hard at work making the place look spic and span again. The set includes some costumes worn by characters like Dumbledore and the various professors.

Production designer Stuart Craig also showed off the model Hogwarts used in many of the wide shots of the castle that we've seen in the films. Turns out it was used for everything except when Hogwarts was set on fire in "Deathly Hallows: Part 2."

What I personally can't wait to see one day is the Gryffindor common room. Apparently everything is still there down to the rumpled bed sheets. And hopefully Warner Bros has come up with some way to let fans ride that automated broom that [url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/264615/personmain.jhtml"]Daniel Radcliffe[/url] used to shoot all of those Quidditch scenes in the "Potter" films. Fingers crossed.
