Rick Ross adds some gangster visuals to his "Yella Diamonds" track off the recently-released Rich Forever mixtape. The grimy, Dre Films-helmed clip tells the tale of drug dealer Ross (no surprise there) as "El gordito Rozay," a bawse who peddles a special blend of dope called "Yella Diamonds." A competing dealer named Jose tries to sell his own narcotics, posed as Yellow Diamonds, which is a major no-go in the underworld.

All of the dialog is in Spanglish but unfortunately Ross doesn't actually speak and we're relegated to subtitles. "I'm going to be RICH FOREVER too...so F--- YOU GORDITO!" says Ross' adversary at one point. Shots fired! Revenge must be dished out.

Ross then rounds up his intimidating goon squad in the back room of a convenience store, which also houses a vintage Pac Man arcade game--the perfect front for illegal activity--and the muscle goes to work. "WHERE THE SAFE AT N----?" the goons demand as they attack Jose and his girl. Ross remains cool as a fan in his Clemson jacket and his goons return the Yella Diamonds as promised. There's nothing left to do but play Pac Man to celebrate a job well done. And that's what Ross does.

Rozay recently spoke to MTV News about his real-life beef with rapper Young Jeezy. When Sway asked Ross if he and Jizzle could sit down and work things out, Rozay was open to the idea if it was fiscally beneficial. "I'm always 'bout business; that's why I'm here. I haven't taken nothin' personal since I came in the game and I think if you in this business and plan on having longevity in this you shouldn't take nothin' personal," Ross said.

They could always just hash it out over a game of Pac Man.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
