Miss Jennifer - Trends are set in New York City, and Miss Jennifer’s sets are starting a new trend in New York’s House Music Scene. This former model is not just a pretty face and a slender body, but also carry a deep passion for House Music. With the help of management team DP Productions Inc, and along with She Productions, Miss Jennifer has become one of New Yorkʼs fastest up and coming stars. To her credit Miss Jennifer has spun at renowned New York big rooms such as Pacha NYC, Cielo NYC, Glo (LI), Arena (Asseteria), Love (NYC), Gansevoort (NYC), Tavern (LI), Neptunes (LI), Dream (LI) and the list goes on playing weekly in most of all the big room venues throughout New York & New Jersey. Miss Jenniferʼs sets create a captivating vibe like no other. Her uplifting sounds fill an entire room with waves of energy that indulge from wall to wall with her tech house beats, soul grasping vocals and pulsating drums. Miss Jennifer is now considered to be one of the best female DJs in New York.

Rob Fernandez MEGA Birthday Bash with Oscar G - Rob Fernandez celebrates his yearly mega birthday bash at Cielo with Miami DJ & Producer heavy weight - his "Murkness" Oscar G. For over a decade Rob’s been one of America’s top dance promoters and a primary mover in the Big Apple’s nightlife scene since the ‘80s, creating and producing some of the city’s definitive events and longest running parties. In the process he’s helped launch DJs like Danny Tenaglia and Erick Morillo into international stardom. Dubbed a “New Yorker to Watch” and “New Yorker of the Year” by Time Out and the New York Magazine respectively, Rob’s also taken home “Best Party” honors from both the Dancestar and Club World award ceremonies. Currently his Thursday night who’s who in dance music, Dance.Here.Now, with fellow promoter Benny Soto, is always a must attend night out in the Cielo calendar… In compliment , the birthday boy's wingman for the night and the man in charge of the music also needs little by way of introduction. Starting back in ‘91, Oscar G and his partner Ralph Falcon released a string of underground classics that would earn them a place in the hallowed history of house, forever. When Liberty City’s ‘Some Loving’ and Interceptor’s ‘Together’ dropped on their Murk label, Danny Tenaglia and Junior Vasquez executed their magic and, in giving these records their full support, played these songs into anthems. As half of the Murk boys, Oscar G remixed pop icons including Madonna and the Pet Shop Boys, while their Funky Green Dogs alias also scored a trio of Billboard chart toppers with ‘Fired Up’, ‘The Way’ and ‘Body’. But Oscar’s true passion is DJing and with a box of twisted house tracks no other can rock the floor as clubbers the world over will attest. Happy Birthday Rob!

Danny Howells -A phenomenally versatile DJ, Danny Howells is as renowned for his work in the studio as in the clubs. A masterful mixer with seven albums to his name, an equally noted remixer, and an innovative producer in his own right under the monikers Squelch and Science Department, Danny Howells has stamped his own sound across the modern dance scene. Danny is one of the few DJ's on the scene today that truly has a style of his own. He brings his passion, energy and eclectic sound to every set that has helped to establish him as one of the top DJ's in the world. One of the hardest working and most dedicated individuals in the business with over 18 years experience and a hectic touring schedule that constantly takes him around the world. He's played in the world's coolest clubs and held residencies at places such as Ministry of Sound, Renaissance, The End, and Bedrock, as well as his own Dig Deeper nights worldwide. The English native is no stranger to New York. We recognized him from countless night spent at our beloved Twilo and Vinyl/Arc. Gear up and bring on your holiday cheers to Cielo. A night with Danny Howells is not to be missed!

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
