Legendary "Real World" troublemaker David "Puck" Rainey needs to learn how to be a better father ... at least according to an L.A. judge -- who sentenced the reality star to parenting classes after his recent domestic violence arrest.

As we previously reported, Puck was busted on suspicion of felony corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant back in June.

It's unclear exactly what happened during the incident, but it's likely his kid was present -- because Puck was charged with child endangerment and contributing to delinquency of minor ... in addition to domestic battery and corporal injury on a spouse.

Puck struck a deal with prosecutors yesterday -- in which two counts, child endangerment and corporal injury on a spouse, were dismissed. In exchange, Puck pled "no contest" to domestic battery and contributing to delinquency of a minor.

The judge sentenced Puck to 4 years probation -- in addition to a 52-week domestic violence counseling program and 52 parenting classes.

If that wasn't bad enough, Puck also has to complete 30 days of reflective orange vest-wearing highway clean-up patrol.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
