Made U Look: Photos From Future's 'Tony Montana' Video Set

Future has been building a steady buzz with his recent mixtapes, including September’s Streetz Calling and July’s Free Bricks but the June release True Story still boasts his most popular single to date. “Tony Montana” took off thanks in part to a feature from Drake and now the Atlanta rapper is preparing to roll out an accompanying video for the track.

When MTV News caught up with Future in NYC earlier this month, he explained the storyline of the video, which was filmed in the Dominican Republic. "I get a call from overseas saying there's been some robberies going on, and they want me to come over there and handle it," he said.

Future added that he originally intended to film the video in Cuba—as a proper ode to the origins of Al Pacino’s Scarface character—but he was forced to relocate due to certain restrictions."It was hard [enough] getting over to the Dominican Republic and getting all the permits," he explained. "I wanted to go to Cuba, but I couldn't get over there because of the passports and going through customs. It took five hours in customs, getting searched 10 times, going to the Dominican Republic. Getting back, they damn near didn't want me to come back to America."

Drake is set to appear in the “Tony Montana” video but he will film his segment separately.
