Alexander Skarsgard Loads Up In This Exclusive '13' Clip!

At long last, this week sees the release of "[url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/movie/412359/moviemain.jhtml"]13[/url]," director [url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/402280/personmain.jhtml"]Géla Babluani's[/url] adaptation of his own 2005 French film. The movie follows Vincent "Vince" Ferro ([url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/447492/personmain.jhtml"]Sam Riley[/url]), a young man with a desperate need for cash. His desperation drags him into the underground world of Russian roulette, where he has to participate in several deadly games to earn his paycheck. It's not a pretty living, but someone's gotta do it!

"13" features an incredible cast including "Expendables" alums [url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/208059/personmain.jhtml"]Jason Statham[/url] and [url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/54512/personmain.jhtml"]Mickey Rourke[/url], Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, and "The Departed" badass Ray Winstone. It also has a spot for [url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/132670/personmain.jhtml"]"True Blood" hunk Alexander Skarsgård[/url], who just so happens to be the star of this exclusive clip from "13." Skarsgård puts his fangs away in favor of some gun-loading lessons for roulette newbie Vince. Check it out in the video below.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
