(Ray J escorted out of the Palms following confrontation with Fabolous)

Ray J is sorry. The "One Wish" singer issued a formal apology to his fans in the wake of his tirade on a New York City morning show that was littered with profanity-laced threats and questionable remarks directed at rapper Fabolous. Ray J was up early recanting his side of what he called a beatdown issued to Fab in Las Vegas over the weekend.

"I want to apology to my fans that might have been offended by the things I said on today’s radio interview" the singer tweeted. "I lost control."

Ray J and Fab got into it at the Palms hotel and casino capping a weekend of controversial boxing when champ Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s upped his record after he knocked out opponent Victor Ortiz. For his part Ray J claims he chin checked Loso after the Brooklynite made a few jokes on Twitter that didn't sit too well the reality TV star.

"Ni--as sayin Ray J got beat up? I'll sock that ni--a in his face again my ni--a" Ray J told Power 105's "The Breakfast Club. "All i'm saying if you got Fabs number tell that ni--a to send a picture of his face right now."

Fabolous eventually gave his side of the story later Monday evening (Sept 19) during a candid interview where he referred to Ray J as "Lil Brandy" and "Red Ridin' Hood." Loso calmly maintained no such altercation ever took place.

"It was no fight, it was no swing" said Fab. "This whole story that he made up, that Tupac rant about him swinging on somebody and all of that s--t is all lies. Its all, high on coke, on that Whitney. That's all on that Whitney last night. Ain't no swings take place."

Fabolous Responds To Ray-J's Allegations

A raging Ray J was eventually escorted out of the building by Las Vegas' finest backstage at the Palms prior to Fab's performance with LOX rappers Jadakiss and Styles P.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
