Hexstatic present… Trailer Trax
Cargo, 83 Rivington Street, Shoreditch, London EC2A 3AY

Hexstatic (AV Set) / DJ Woody (AV Set)

13th May 2010, Doors open: 7.30pm - 11.00pm

Audio/ Visual pioneers Hexstatic present a brand new album and live AV show within the hallowed arches of Cargo in the heart of Shoreditch. Watch in amazement as sight and sound are mixed right in front of your face; and dance like a lunatic to the booming sounds coming out of the Turbosound system.

Taking it’s lead from the schlock and cheese of ‘Grindhouse’ style cinema trailers, in ‘Trailer Trax’ we see and hear Hexstatic slice and dice these references with elements of techno, dubstep, dancehall, drum and bass and any other riddim designed to make you shake your ribcage into a whipped up frenzy for your aural and visual pleasure!’

See women attacked by ‘Rampaging Robot Gorillas’, ‘The Mighty Gammera’ destroy Tokyo in a flash, ‘Galaxy Invaders’ scare rednecks with ill fitting plastic suits…see an embryo grow in a day, learn how to skateboard safely and then have a drink in our Hollywood Bar at intermission!

See it, and then dance it, and then tell all your friends.

Getting to Cargo:

Tube: Old Street or Liverpool Street stations
Buses: 26, 35, 47, 48, 67, 78, 149, 242 to Shoreditch High Street

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
