Wow, can you believe Pukka Up is seven years old on 27th March; and to mark the occasion the super sexy club night is celebrating with its biggest Birthday party yet!

For those who love upfront house music the Pukka Up Birthdays are an annual high. Always sold out, number seven sets sail with a party cruise down the Thames before continuing the debauchery at its flagship residency at Pacha.

What’s more to mark seven outrageous years, the theme is 7 Deadly Sins. Whether it’s Envy, Pride, Greed, Gluttony, Wrath, Sloth or Lust house fans won’t want to miss the chance to indulge in this super shiny night of decadence and damn good house music.

7 Years of Pukka Up...

Pukka Up first hit the spot on the clubland map after its Ibiza Sunset cruises quickly gathered a fabulous following like-minded party peeps. Soon it grew to bigger and better things and seven years later its now hosting regular nights across the UK and Europe - not forgetting its regular Ibiza residencies.

The boat parties remain a very important aspect of the PU mix and as their fan base has snowballed over the years the combined Boat & Pacha parties have become more eagerly anticipated than ever.

The 7 Sins Boat & Pacha Parties - 27th March

The 7 Sins Birthday cruise embarks from the Millennium Pier on the Thames at 8pm and for three hours the house-fuelled riverboat glides past some of London’s biggest landmarks, while powering out some of the best upfront house.

Then it’s back to Pacha to continue to party all night long. Music at both locations is captained by Pukka Up stalwarts Thre3 Up. Featuring Million $$ Disco, Scott Giles and DJ F.A.B. the trio are the keystone to Pukka Up’s soundtrack. Support duties are down to Ilovemydjs, The Lose Control Sound System & Your Play House DJs.

Entertainment is provided by the very sexy Dirty Cops while the trademark Pukka Up production will be full of spectacular Birthday surprises and visual feasts.

Guests are encouraged to sprinkle on a a bit or glamour while the more daring can come dressed up as their favourite deadly Sin. Well, it is a Birthday party after all!

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
