YARIV ETZION was born in Haifa, ISRAEL and started his musical life as a hard rock drummer. He has played with few metal bands for over 10 years. Since 1995 until today, Yariv has performed live and as a DJ in every major club in Israel, supporting many top dj's from all over the world. In 2002 he has opened the "bpm college of sound & music in israel" which is currently the largest contemporary music college in his country.

Yariv works on 2 projects: The project Stereo Underground was made to showcase a modern take on progressive dance music with a special focus on quality, hi fi production. The live performances of Stereo Underground build slowly from tech house, techno, thru to more progressive styles. Currently releasing on Italo business, Android muziq & Elektrax. The Project Yariv Etzion is more tech deep house & progressive house full with great atmospheric melodies to remember. Now is time to showcase is first release 'Mashed Potatoes' on SLOK's imprint Electronic Petz! As always the artwork was created by the Italian designer collective Real DC

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
