Coldplay in hot water for copy Cat song....

British band Coldplay has again been accused of plagiarism over smash hit 'Viva la Vida', this time by the singer-songwriter formerly known as Cat Stevens.

It's the third time the band has been accused of borrowing from other artists to craft the song, which won "song of the year" at this year's Grammy Awards and featured heavily in iTunes ad campaigns.

The band's former accusers were alternative American band Creaky Boards and guitarist Joe Satriani, who is suing for copyright infringement.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
