PC gaming isn't an easy hobby to get into. Complicated parts and big upfront costs create a pretty big barrier to entry for people looking to dip their toes into the medium. Thankfully, PC gaming laptops exist, and serve as a great introduction to PC gaming without requiring you to commit thousands of dollars to something you may not even end up liking. (Gaming laptops are also really good supplemental devices for already-experienced PC gamers.)

And with Cyber Weekend here, a ton of gaming laptops are discounted across a wide array of price ranges. If you were at all thinking about trying out a gaming laptop, now is the time to get one.

We scoured through all the gaming laptop deals we could find ahead of the big event, and put together a list of all our favorites for you. Check them out below, and keep checking back throughout the holiday season — we'll be updating this page with new deals as they go live.

Note: All newly added deals are marked with a ✨. Deals with a strikeout were either sold out or expired at the time of writing.

Best overall deal

Our pick: Razer Blade 15
$1,799.99 at Amazon (save $1,500)

Why we like it

Out of all the gaming laptops on sale this Cyber Weekend, this configuration of last year's Razer Blade 15 has the biggest discount by far — an impressive $1,500 off its $3,299.99 MSRP. (If it sells out on Amazon, note that this offer was matched on the Razer website at the time of writing.) It features a high-end 12th-generation Intel Core i9 H-series CPU with 16GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics, 1TB of storage, a 15-inch 240HZ OLED display, and a Chroma RGB keyboard. She's a beast and a beaut, and according to the Amazon price-tracking site camelcamelcamel, she's never been this cheap before.

Best budget gaming laptop deal

Our Pick: Acer Nitro 5
$599 at Amazon (save $200)

Why we like it

Gaming laptops are undeniably expensive: Sometimes, it can be hard to find what you're looking for for under $2,000, let alone under $1,000. If keeping things budget-friendly is your main priority as you shop for gaming laptop deals, then look no further than the Acer Nitro 5: it features Intel Core i7-12500H with 8GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, 512GB of storage, and an IPS display. While these specs won't give you the most cutting-edge experience, the Acer Nitro 5 is a reliable, satisfactory gaming laptop that stands out within its price bracket. According to camelcamelcamel, it's never been listed at a price this low, either.

Best mid-range gaming laptop deal

Why we like it

When it comes to choosing the right gaming laptop, storage is one of the most important considerations to keep in mind along with budget. That's why we're drawn to the ASUS TUF Gaming A147: it has 1TB of storage and is only a little over $1,000 at Amazon as it clocks in at its lowest-recorded price of $1,199 according to camelcamelcamel. With an AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS processor, NVIDIA GeForce, and 16GB of DDR5-4800MHz, this gaming laptop is great at multitasking. Plus, it's speedy. It's a great value buy for anyone shopping for a mid-range gaming laptop this week.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
