Habstrakt Ends 2019 Hot Streak with New Single “Real” [LISTEN]

Habstrakt continues his reign over bass house with a brand new, blazing single, “Real.”

Not only does the song top off a remarkable run of Habstrakt singles in 2019, it assures us he has another massive year ahead in 2020. Above all else, we can count on the DJ/producer to keep it “Real.”

Habstrakt’s signature style thrives in full form with this release — it’s high energy, pumping action fused through a mean blend of bass and electro. For bass house lovers, this is as good as it gets.

I wanted to make something raw and distorted but packed with a lot of attitude, it’s been my favourite thing to play lately specially the second drop! This is my last release for the 2019 year before taking a little holiday break! – Habstrakt

Though this is Habstrakt’s final track of the year, you can rest easy knowing he will return full force in 2020 with all the bass we crave!

      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
