Adison Skye

She's a new pop singer-songwriter really good! Kind of like a Michelle Branch or Taylor Swift...shes also a spokesperson for The Humanity Project (an anti-bullying org) You can hear a track here: My link
GREAT rock band if you don’t know them. They had an album out in 2004 called June’s Picture Show which is one of my favs! Theyre putting out a new album on a new indie label and it comes out next week. Ive seen the track “As Long As Im With You” up in a few places and really like it. I’m glad they’re back!
Love the album! Makes for a great commute :) Fav tracks are definitely Hey Girl, As Long As I’m With You and Miss Kennedy...
  7. Eartha won a Grammy for Best Contemporary Soul/Gospel album which was great, BUT she just released a new album called Ink Dry Blue and it is a rock album through and through! The music is very heavy (most of which she composed and played) which was really unexpected and the vocals are quite dark too...definitely worth listening to

    Barbarella!

Remember that movie from like 1968? This band Loomis and the Lust just did a music video remake that I must say is pretty funny! I heard about these guys when they did that viral video A.D.D. that was awesome! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rk22URNeIm0

  11. Pop artist Emii has created this great cartoon of herself as "Firebird" in a fight to battle the evil auto-tune empire! My fav line? "If you're a singer...you should be able to sing, right?"

    Great Big Sea

Im not usually one to like rock/celtic music (a la Gaelic Storm, even though they surprised me when I saw them on the Rock Boat last year) but a friend of mine just turned me on to Great Big Sea’s new album and it really is great! Its definitely more of a rock record through and through but it still has some of the celtic roots overtop. They’ve been around for a really long time though, can anyone tell me which albums theyd recommend??

    New Roy Jay

Pretty cool new album coming in August…has a co-write with my fav Tony Lucca and Chris Seefried (if you don’t know who he is…hes worked with amazing artists like Roseanne Cash and Quincy Jones). Def worth checking out – he’ll also be on tour with Stephen Kellogg..not too bad
