5. DRUMCODE ANNOUNCE LONDON SHOW Saturday 25th September 10pm to 7am Secret Warehouse Location | Central London ADAM BEYER comes to London for the first time in over a year to showcase his critically acclaimed DRUMCODE label in London’s most exciting underground warehouse space. Following the success of Drumcode events around the world Adam now brings this winning formula to the UK delivering one of the biggest line ups of the year, featuring a host of Drumcode talent as well as extra special guest - CHRIS LIEBING. Adam Beyer's music is synonymous with all that is exciting about electronic music today. His meteoric rise has been cited as one of the catalysts for Swedish Stockholm sound’s current influence on the global techno scene, alongside his friends and fellow techno stalwarts Joel Mull and Cari Lekebusch. From humble beginnings spinning anything from hiphop to acid house it was Drumcodes 1 (Planet Rhythm 1995) that he cites as the first record to define his style. This 12" named Beyer´s label and was soon followed by his critically acclaimed debut album Decoded (Planet Rhythm 1996). His need to create tracks that gave him absolute musical freedom gave rise to the launch of the Drumcode label. Synonymous with strong concepts and high production levels, Drumcode showcases all that is best about Adam Beyer’s DJ sets – bringing together the diverse sounds of techno under one driving and enduringly funky arrangement – and highlighting why his sound is in such demand across the globe. Chris Liebing one of the World’s leading and most exciting techno artists is the driving force behind the labels CLR and Spinclub Recordings. His sound has continuously evolved during his career but always remained true to his Techno roots. Based in Berlin, Chris Liebing has headlined every major dance event around the world including a residency at Cocoon Ibiza, playing alongside Carl Cox at Space…his performances are nothing short of legendary! 23. ARTIST: B.U.B.B.A ALBUM: While The City Sleeps LABEL: Aciitone Digital CAT: ATR013 RELEASE DATE: 14-06-2010 BUY | LISTEN: http://www.whatpeopleplay.com/?redirect=/albumdetails/null/id/26245 A first for Aciitone as we see the release of our first artist album from Belfast native Jonny "Bubba"Smith. "While the City Sleeps" is a fresh sound that draws on many retro influences. BUBBA's debut solo album delivers a selection of well rounded pieces that showcase the many sides of his producing talents, from sunny strings to bumpin basslines, with deeper, drugged out vocal snips and a squechy splosh of acid, its an album offering a fine selection of summertime bombs... Jonny 'Bubba' Smyth started out as a kid, making music on a keyboard and drum machine in his bedroom in Belfast in the 90's,trying to emulate the techno and house sounds he was hearing at the underground club nights Sugar Sweet and Shake Ya Brain ran by local DJ/Soundtrack legend David Holmes. Teaming up with his friends who were DJ's and producer's became part of the local underground collective, DJing and playing live around Belfast and Ireland. With his friend Mark 'Scoper' Bell they produced the seminal track Scoper & Bubba - I'm Satisfied released on Luke Solomon and Derrick Carter's Classic label. Then further releases as Scoper & Bubba alongside label mates Romanthony and Milton Jackson on Glasgow Underground and for Paul Woolford's Hip Therapy project. Collaborations with Timmy 'Jet Project' Stewart as Bubba & T-Bone seen release's on labels Elevation, Mode Music and Tom Budden's Alive imprint and have seen big support and plays by Dubfire, James Zabiela, Ivan Smagge, Ewan Pearson, Ricardo Villalobos, Paul Woolford, Laurent Garnier, Solomun, Ben Watt and more. Now embarking on a exciting new solo project which sees his debut album coming out on eclectic electronic label Aciitone. And the first in a series of releases for Tel Aviv Label Asymmetric and Chris Duckenfield and Jet Projects Extended Play. "It's cool that you make something in your bedroom and with the technology you can reach lots of different people, I'm very excited that Aciitone are getting this project out. Music speaks an international language" With more tracks and remixes on the way in the coming month's, in 2010 you'll definitely be hearing more... FEEDBACK: The album is fucking greeeeeeat... proper wonky house like we haven't heard for too long now... IVAN SMAGHE (BLACKSTROBE / KILL THE DJ) Girl in mask is great. Heatseeker cool melodic hook. Altered states is a hot groove. DJ CHLOE (KILL THE DJ / FRANCE) Wooooah, that's chunkier than a family pack of Yorkie bars! Nice work, a really choice package. IDJ / IBIZA VOICE REVIEWS Crack'n album from Jonny. Will be supporting 100% AARON SHIM (YELLOW / BELFAST) Killer track!!! Love the original.... SIOPIS (GET PHYSICAL / BERLIN) Girl in the Mask and Mixed Herbs are both very good. ANIL CHAWLA (GLOBAL UNDERGROUND)

Spanning 3 huge industrial arches and a large outside space, the event is powered by Funktion1 sound and is the perfect excuse to remove yourself from the standard club environment and embark on a summertime adventure… Eric Prydz Gui Boratto (Live) + guests Eric Prydz needs no introduction and stands alone in his ability to mix commercial success with underground notoriety. Acknowledged by Beatport as one of their biggest selling artists of all time, he runs his own labels including PRYDA and the more techno orientated Mouseville.
